Kanta

Hello! My name is Kanta. Let me tell you a little about myself:

I have a wonderful large and extended family who lives around the world – mom and sisters in California, brother and sister-in-law in New Jersey and cousins in Florida, India, England and Guyana to name a few places. I love walking my dogs and cooking. I love cooking with friends. Today, I baked chocolate chip cookies.

I am a scientist. I have a PhD. I help children with asthma stay out of the emergency department or go to the hospital. I loved studying math and statistics.

I live in Atlanta. The things I love about my community is that it has a lake and places that you can go hiking. There are three playgrounds in a five mile radius. The elementary school is walking distance from my house.

Since I can remember I have always known I wanted to be a mother and raise a family. After much thought and consideration, I know that adoption is the right choice for me. I thought that I would have children after I got married, but marriage has not happened for me yet and I am certain it is the right time to start a family. I have been considering adoption for a few years and have talked about it extensively with my family and dear friends. They have all been so supportive of this decision.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
