Our names are Kim & Winfred. We have been together for nearly 15 years and married for 10. Our love has only deepened over time, and we’ve learned that we can count on each other no matter what life presents. We were both raised in Christian homes. Through the years, we’ve always known we wanted children and we are excited to start a family. Having been together for so long means we know how to comfort each other, how to make each other laugh and how to solve problems together. We are so excited about becoming parents. We have so much love to share with this new baby. Some of our favorite activities to do as a couple include bike riding, amusement parks, video game nights and watching a good movie, especially ones about superheroes!
We both come from loving homes where family is important to us. Our families are regularly involved with our lives. Kim’s mom and brother moved to Georgia immediately after Kim decided to live here. Every year, we celebrate Winfred’s family with our annual family reunion. Over 140 family members come together in unity, prayer and love. This family reunion is important to us and we plan to continue this tradition and pass down to the future generations. Both families are looking forward to welcoming a new baby into their lives.
Winfred has a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. He has a passion for sketching & drawing art, playing video games and watching any Marvel or DC comic series that comes on television. He grew up with one older brother and he’s close to his first cousin, Alex, who was born a week apart from him. Alex shares similar family values with an adoptive child named Isaac of his own.
Kim has a MBA in Marketing and works for a major engineering firm. For the past 5 years, Kim volunteered her time through the Big Brother, Big Sister organization to a young girl. Kim has mentored her since she was 7 years old. Over the years, Kim has been a true role model to her by inspiring her to do well in school and participate in multiple activities. Kim comes from a family with a loving, supportive brother and parents. Kim has been a part of her only brother’s family of three, since they were born. She is a prominent role model in their lives by encouraging them the importance of a good education and providing lifelong advice over the years.
Our goals as parents:
We want our child to understand that he or she was adopted and to be loved. We would feel so blessed to have them in our lives. We are committed to becoming the best possible parents, to support, to nurture and to set a good example for him or her.
